On January 26, 2025, the Indian Embassy in Austria proudly celebrated India’s 76th Republic Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor at the Embassy Event Hall. The event commenced with the flag hoisting ceremony at 9:30 AM, led by His Excellency Shri Shambhu S. Kumaran, Ambassador of India to Austria.
To mark this auspicious occasion, the Embassy organized a vibrant cultural program featuring traditional Indian classical dance performances and engaging presentations by children, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of India.
The celebration also included a grand arrangement of sumptuous Indian refreshments, offering a taste of India to the Austrian-Indian diaspora.
Distinguished delegations from Brahma Kumaris and Divya Bharat Association graced the occasion with their presence. Members of HMA, HROe, and various other organizations also participated, making the event truly memorable and reflective of India’s unity in diversity.
The spirit of patriotism and camaraderie filled the air as the Indian community in Austria came together to honor this significant day in India’s history.
